Closed session pursuant to Virginia Code Sections 2.2-3711.A (.3) (.5) and (.8) to discuss the acquisition of real property in the Kecoughtan Road Corridor where discussion in an open meeting would adversely affect the bargaining position or negotiating strategy of the city; to engage in discussion concerning a prospective business or industry where no previous announcement has been made of the business’ or industry’s interest in locating or expanding its facilities in Hampton; and consultation with legal counsel employed by the City regarding specific legal matters pertaining to contract provisions and discussion regarding §15.2-919, §46.2-1049 and §62.1-44.15:67et seq. of the Virginia Code.
