Closed session pursuant to Virginia Code Sections 2.2-3711.A.3 and .7 to discuss or consider the acquisition of real property in the Fox Hill area for a public purpose where discussion in an open meeting would adversely affect the bargaining position or negotiating strategy of the City and to consult with legal counsel employed or retained by the City regarding specific legal matters pertaining to a proposed public safety ordinance pertaining to pedestrian safety issues, and boards and commissions requiring the provision of legal advice by such counsel and to discuss actual or probable litigation.
