Closed session pursuant to Virginia Code Sections 2.2-3711.A.1, .3 and .7 to consider appointments as listed on the agenda, to discuss the evaluation of the City Manager, the City Attorney and the Clerk of Council, to discuss or consider the acquisition of real property for a public purpose, or the disposition of publicly held real property in the areas of Coliseum Central, Mercury Boulevard, Magruder Boulevard and Downtown Hampton, where discussion in an open meeting would adversely affect the bargaining position or negotiating strategy of the City, and to consult with legal counsel employed or retained by the City regarding Fort Monroe and matters related to an economic development deal.
