- 1 PLEASE NOTE: The January 27, 2026 Legislative Meeting of the Alexandria City Council is being held electronically via Zoom webinar. Due to the Declaration of Emergency related to winter weather issued by Governor Spanberger on January 22, 2026, and the local declaration of an emergency as declared by the City Manager on January 24, 2026, the Legislative Meeting of the Alexandria City Council will be held electronically pursuant to the Virginia Code Section 2.2-3708.2(A)(3), to discharge the City Council’s lawful purposes, duties, and responsibilities. All the members of the City Council and staff are participating from remote locations through a video conference on Zoom. This meeting is being held electronically, unless a determination is made that it is safe enough to be held in person in the City Council Chamber at the Del Pepper Community Resources Center, 4850 Mark Center Drive, Alexandria, Virginia, 22311.
