Ratify Legislative Intent Regarding Salt Lake County Canyon Contributions for the Unified Fire Authority It is the legislative intent of the Salt Lake County Council to have Mayor Wilson and her staff engage with stakeholders to evaluate alternatives to the current cost allocation of annual UFA fire suppression and emergency medical services in the canyons. This would include the development of alternate policy options, evaluation criteria used for the consideration of these policy options, and an assessment of each option. The Council looks forward to reviewing these recommendations on or before March 15, 2023.
