- 8.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action to authorize the County Judge to sign an Interlocal Agreement with Hockley County, Texas for the change of venue trial in Hockley County cause number 21-09-10115, entitled the State of Texas v. Omar Soto-Chavira.
- 9.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action on authorizing purchase of food and beverages with the Elections County credit card for the Texas Secretary of State’s Elections Regional Training and Risk Limiting Audit Training sessions, workshops, and meetings held on July 30th and 31st, 2024 at the Elections Office.
- 10.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action to exempt from competition the purchase of iPads configured with KNOWiNK proprietary software pursuant to Local Government Code 262.024(a)(7)(A) of the Texas Local Government Code.
- 11.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action to authorize the County Judge to sign a Letter of Agreement with Bolinger, Segars, Gilbert & Moss, L.L.P. to provide audit services for year ending August 31, 2024, to audit the financial statements of the Texas Juvenile Justice Department grant funds.
- 12.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action regarding a resolution approving the submission of Lubbock Sheriff’s Office grant application, along with all other requisite documentation, regarding funding for the FY 2024 SCAAP (State Criminal Alien Assistance Program) grant through Justice Benefits Incorporate and authorize the County Judge to sign and submit all necessary grant documents needed.
