- 11.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action regarding funding for the 4th on 5th events held in the City of Wolfforth, pursuant to Section 74.601 et seq. of the Texas Property Code. The funds, as defined in the Texas Local Government Code Section 381.044, will be used to promote the arts in our community.
- 12.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action to accept the Constable Pct. 1 monthly report for March 2025 per Local Government Code 114.044.
- 13.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action to authorize the County Judge to sign an Engagement Letter with Hacker Stephens LLP to provide professional legal services.
- 14.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action to authorize the County Judge to sign a Master Contract for Residential Services with Rite of Passage, Inc. for long term residential services at Canyon State Academy.
- 15.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action designating the North Park Development area as Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone No. 4; a Tax Increment Fund for the North Park Tax Increment Financing District in Lubbock County, that has already been designated by the City of Lubbock.
- 16.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action to approve the application for a request by the Commissioner’s Court to the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts for funds under Section 74.602 of the Texas Property Code, to counties for specific uses. The purpose of the funds is in compliance with the provisions of Section 381.004 of the Texas Local Government Code.
- 17.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action to acquire real property interests for the construction of the CR 1700/Milwaukee Ave Project.
- 18.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action to approve and execute, for filing purposes, the plat regarding Campbell Park, Tracts A-E in Precinct 1.
- 19.00 Report on the status of County Road Projects, Department Staffing, Training and Safety, unpaved and paved road maintenance, signs, parks, and fleet management report.

- 20.00 A quorum of the Commissioners Court may attend the following events: The Community Prayer Luncheon on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 11:30am to 1:00pm at 1501 Mac Davis Ln (Lubbock Memorial Civic Center) Lubbock, Texas.
- 21.00 The Cinco de Mayo Parade on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 9:00am at 2201 Broadway (First Baptist Church) Lubbock, Texas.
- 22.00 The 1970 tornado and the Fujita scale historical markers unveiling on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 2:00pm between Glenna Goodacre Blvd and Ave Q (The Tornado Memorial) Lubbock, Texas.

- 31 As authorized by the Texas Government Code, the Commissioners' Court of Lubbock County, Texas reserves the right to adjourn into Executive Session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any matters, including but not limited to any of the matters listed above, as they may relate to Texas Government Code § 551.071(1) (Consultation with Attorney about pending or contemplated litigation or settlement offers); Texas Government Code § 551.071(2) (Consultation with Attorney when the Attorney's obligations under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code); Texas Government Code § 551.072 (Deliberations About Real Property); Texas Government Code § 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations); Texas Government Code § 551.074 (Personnel Matters); Texas Government Code § 551.0745 (Personnel Matters Affecting a County Advisory Body); Texas Government Code § 551.076 (Deliberations Regarding Security Devices or Security Audits); and Texas Government Code § 551.087 (Deliberations Regarding Economic Development Negotiations).
