- 17.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action regarding funding for the 2026 Kids Art Journey with Foster A Life pursuant to Section 74.601 et seq. of the Texas Property Code. The funds, as defined in the Texas Local Government Code Section 381.004, will be used to promote the arts in our community.
- 18.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action to approve a Proclamation in support of the Lubbock Retired Senior and Volunteer Program (RSVP) that benefits older adults, non-profit agencies, and our community on February 28, 2026.
- 19.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action regarding funding for the 2026 4th on 5th events held in the City of Wolfforth, pursuant to Section 74.601 et seq. of the Texas Property Code. The funds, as defined in the Texas Local Government Code Section 381.044, will be used to promote the arts in our community. ..body Comment: The request is for $5,000.00
- 20.00 Presentation and discussion on behalf of Ronnie Keister, Tax Assessor-Collector, regarding the Venue and Short-Term Rental Tax Collections.
- 21.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action to award ITB 260102 Elevator Maintenance for Facilities Maintenance.
- 22.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action to approve the sale of Lubbock County’s surplus through an online auction per Local Government Code §263.152(a)(1), and to transfer surplus property within the Lubbock County Departments per Local Government Code §262.011(j) if needed.
- 23.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action to approve the resolution and application for the FY 2027 Victim Advocacy Project grant through VOCA (Victims of Crime Act) and designating the County Judge, as the authorized official, to apply for, accept, reject, alter or terminate the grant on behalf of Lubbock County to the Office of the Governor. The County Auditor is designated as the financial officer and is given the power to submit financial and/or programmatic reports or alter a grant on behalf of Lubbock County to the Office of the Governor.
- 24.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action to approve the sales of Fireworks in Lubbock County for Texas Independence Day from February 25, 2026, and ending at midnight March 2, 2026.
- 25.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action to approve the amendments to the Lubbock County Game Room Ordinance effective February 23, 2026
- 26.00 Discuss, consider and/or take action regarding a Resolution for Acknowledging Private Road 7320 (North of County Road 7330 and Slide Road) in Precinct 1 for addressing purposes only.
- 27.00 Report on the status of County Road projects, Department Staffing, Training, and Safety, unpaved and paved road maintenance, signs, parks, and fleet management.
