However, the Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the City Council from discussing issues which the public has not been given seventy-two (72) hours’ notice. Issues raised may be referred to City Staff for research and possible future action. Each speaker will be allowed three (3) minutes to speak.
- F. CONSENT
- 1. Consider approval of the Minutes of the Tuesday, August 6, 2024, Regular City Council Meeting.
- 2. Consider a resolution approving a payment to Select Excavation, LLC of McKinney, Texas; for the temporary emergency drainage repair of a gabion wall failure along the Highland Oaks Crossing Channel, for the Public Works Department; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents relating thereto on behalf of the City of Keller, Texas.

Consider a resolution approving the proposal for a customized municipality mobile app with GOGov, Inc., of Islandia, New York, for the purpose of delivering a fully integrated citizen reporting solution and information portal providing mobile application, web platform, and texting capabilities, for a three (3) year period with an option for two (2) additional one (1) year renewal periods, for a total of five (5) years; and further authorizes the City Manager to execute all contract documents on behalf of the City of Keller, Texas.

PUBLIC HEARING: Consider an ordinance approving a Specific Use Permit (SUP) for a commercial retail nursery with outside storage for Fossil Creek Tree Farm, on approximately 2.43 acres of a 6.875-acre lot, located at the northeast corner of the Johnson Road and North Main Street intersection, legally described as Lot 1R, Block 1 of the L.L. - 2. Consider a resolution of the City Council of the City of Keller, Texas, to consider a proposal to adopt a tax rate that will be lower than the no new revenue and voter-approval tax rates; and providing an effective date.
