- 1 Discussion and action to approve the Minutes of the Women’s Rights Commission Meeting of May 14, 2024.
- 2 Updates on Recommendation Letters sent to City Council by the Women’s Rights Commission on HB300 and Pink Tax. Child Care Relief, Parental Leave accompanied with Listening Sessions, and the City Manager Search, proposed by Chair Monsisvais.
- 3 Update on the Parental Shared Leave Policy, Mary Wiggins, Chief Human Resources Officer, City of El Paso, item proposed by Commissioner Turner.
- 4 Discussion and action that the Women’s Rights Commission to explore opportunities to attend or host conferences aligned with the mission of the commission, proposed by Commissioner Scherr.
- 5 Discussion and Action for the Women’s Rights Commission to create working groups consisting of 3-4 people to develop solutions to issues addressed in the Strategic Plan to help streamline and maximize time between meetings, proposed by Commissioner Turner.
