That the Mayor be authorized to sign an lnterlocal Agreement between the County of El Paso and the City of El Paso to submit a joint application to the Department of Justice under the 2025 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program (JAG), for a total amount of$189,848.00. Discussion and action on a Resolution authorizing the expenditure of District 1 discretionary funds, in an amount not to exceed $22,400.00, to fund solar lights to improve visibility for Parkhills Park and Cimarron Park # 2 for park users, serves the municipal purpose of enhancing and sustaining the community's safety and quality of life, fostering community pride, and aligning and implementing key investment strategies sustaining and enhancing park system operations and outdoor offerings.
