Authorize an amendment to Resolution No. 24-1784, approved on December 11, 2024 for the grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency passed through the Texas Office of the Governor Homeland Security Grants Division (HSGD) for the FY 2024 Homeland Security Grant Program which includes the Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) (Federal / State Award ID No. EMW-2024-SS-05096 in an amount not to exceed $5,842,198.40 to: (1) add Grant No. 5853501 for additional activities related to enhancing preparedness and building capacity to prepare for, prevent, and respond to terrorist attacks; (2) extend the term of the agreement from August 31, 2026 to November 30, 2026; (3) reallocate funds within the existing budget to add Grant No. 5853501; and (4) execution of the amended grant agreement with HSGD and all terms, conditions, and documents required by the amended agreement - Financing: No cost consideration to the City 26-1001A
