- 2 Notice was given that the Building and Standards Commission of the City of Coppell, Texas, met on Thursday, February 5, 2026, in Regular Called Session at 6 p.m. for Work Session, and Regular Session follow immediately thereafter, at Town Center, 255 Parkway Boulevard, Coppell, Texas. As authorized by Section 551.127, of the Texas Government Code, one or more appointed board members or employees may attend this meeting remotely using videoconferencing technology. As authorized by Section 551.071(2) of the Texas Government Code, this meeting may be convened into closed Executive Session for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item listed herein. The purpose of this meeting was to consider the following items:

- 4. Citizens' Appearance
- 7 This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the Board or Commission on any matter. Anyone wishing to address the Board or Commission should register prior to the start of the meeting. There is a three (3) minute time limit for each citizen to speak. In the event that there are more than thirty (30) speakers registered for Citizens' Appearance, the chairperson may reduce each speaker's time to no less than one minute per speaker. The Board or Commission is not permitted to discuss or take action on any subject raised by a speaker during Citizens' Appearance

- 6. Consider approval of the October 2, 2025, Building and Standards Commission meeting minutes.
- 7. PUBLIC HEARING: A public hearing before the Building and Standards Commission is being held to determine if the structure located on the property addressed as 192 Freeport Parkway, in the City of Coppell, Dallas County, Texas, complied with the Ordered action within the allotted time provided and with the standards outlined in Article 15-14, Chapter 15 of the Coppell Code of Ordinance.

PUBLIC HEARING: A public hearing before the Building and Standards Commission is being held to determine if the structure located on the property addressed as 631 Stratford Lane, in the City of Coppell, Dallas County, Texas, complied with the Ordered action within the allotted time provided and with the standards outlined in Article 15-14, Chapter 15 of the Coppell Code of Ordinance.
- 9. PUBLIC HEARING: Consider the adoption of the 2026 National Electrical Code with amendments set forth.
