- 2 Pursuant to Section 8 44 112 of the Tennessee Code Annotated, time is reserved for public comment on legislative items appearing on this agenda or related to the committee. Members of the public wishing to speak may sign up on the Council Committee signup sheet posted outside the room where the committee is scheduled to meet. Public Comment sign up for Council Committee meetings will end immediately before the meeting begins. - 1. A resolution accepting a Studio NPL Outreach Coordinator Grant from the Nashville Public Library Foundation to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Nashville Public Library, to fund the Studio NPL program supervisor position.
- 2. A resolution accepting an Enhancement and Improvements grant from the Nashville Public Library Foundation to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Nashville Public Library, to provide programming for children, teens, and adults, in addition to books, materials, and supplies.
- 3. A resolution accepting a Wishing Chair Productions grant from the Nashville Public Library Foundation to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Nashville Public Library, to fund puppeteers to help with education outreach by providing puppet shows to daycare centers, elementary schools, and Head Start facilities.
- 4. A resolution accepting a grant from the Nashville Public Library Foundation to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Nashville Public Library, to fund positions for education and literacy programs including Bringing Books to Life, Adult Literacy, and Limitless Libraries.
- 5. A resolution accepting an in-kind grant from the Nashville Public Library Foundation to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Library Board, to fund enhancements and improvements for various programming, administration, and operations of the Nashville Public Library.
- 6. A resolution accepting the terms of a cooperative purchasing master agreement with United Parcel Service, Inc. for express courier and ground delivery services for the Nashville Public Library.
