A resolution appropriating a total of $750,000 from the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to Dismas, Inc., to operate the Dismas House and Harm Reduction Initiative to focus on expanding linkage to, and harm-reduction services for, men returning from incarceration who face an elevated risk of opioid use disorder and overdose.

A resolution approving amendment three to an Air Pollution Control Program Support grant from the United States Environmental Protection Agency to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, for the ongoing collection of data on ambient air monitoring and various other activities to reduce or control air pollutants in Nashville, Tennessee.

A resolution accepting a Continuum of Care grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) being transferred from the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Office of Homeless Services, as the local HUD Continuum of Care (CoC) Program Collaborative Applicant to develop a CoC system.

A resolution approving amendment one to a Supported Employment Expansion grant from the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Office of Homeless Services, to provide staff to help promote Individual Placement and Support/Supported Employment (IPS/SE) programs in the recovery of people who have serious mental illness through work.

A resolution ratifying the submission of a grant application to the Greater Nashville Regional Council and accepting a grant from the Greater Nashville Regional Council to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Social Services Commission, to provide home-delivered meals nutrition services for older or disabled adults.

- 20. An ordinance establishing the Opioid Settlement Steering Committee’s role in guiding the strategic use of the Metropolitan Government’s opioid settlement funds through a clear, transparent, and data-driven process.

An ordinance approving a Memorandum of Understanding by and between the Public Safety Cadets (“PSC”) and the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (“MNPD”), to mentor young adults by providing knowledge, skills, and practical experiences through education and training by public safety professionals.
