- 1 NOTICE is hereby given that the Zoning Hearing Board will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of hearing the following appeals. The meeting will be held both in person City Hall Council Chambers, 435 Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA and online. The meeting information will be available at https://allentownpa.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx You may submit any questions, support, or state an objection ahead of the meeting by emailing public.comment@allentownpa.gov. Please include your name and address when submitting any comments. All comments and questions received by 4 pm on June 30, 2025 will be reviewed by the board.

A-2025-00177 602-618 N 7th St Appeal of Allentown Property LLC for Anthony Brichta, Esq. to convert 2nd, 3rd, and partial 4th floors of existing commercial building to a 615 unit SELF-STORAGE FACILITY, with use not permitted. Existing 1st floor retail use to be maintained. Located in the Limited Business/Residential (B-1R) and Traditional Neighborhood Development Overlay (TNDO) District.

A-2025-00199 1047-1049 HAMILTON ST & 19 N 11th St Appeal of Downtown Metro LLC to CONSOLIDATE 2 LOTS & CONSTRUCT MIXED-USE BLDG, with encroachment into the required sight clearance at the NW quad of the project, located in a Central Business (B-2), Traditional Neighborhood Development Overlay (TNDO), Hamilton St. Overlay (HSO) & Historic Building Demolition Overlay (HBDO) Districts.

A-2025-00210 702 Hamilton St Special Use Application of East Penn Properties LP for City Center Group to perform PARTIAL DEMOLITION of existing bank building, with scope change from previously approved Application No. A70266, dated 2/4/2020. With partial demolition requiring special exception approval per Historic Building Demolition Control Overlay (HBDO) requirements. Located in the Central Business (B-2), Hamilton Street Overlay (HSO), HBDO, and Traditional Neighborhood Development Overlay (TNDO) District.
- 7 All persons interested or those desiring to protest against the allowance of the above appeals may appear and be heard. The appeals listed above may be reviewed at the Zoning Office, 4th Floor, City Hall, 435 Hamilton Street, Allentown, Pennsylvania. This meeting will be video recorded and placed on the city website as public record.
