- 7 Approval of Minutes
- 1. Discussion and possible actions to approve meeting minutes of February 12, 2024.
- 9 Departmental Items:
- 2. Receive, accept and discuss report by Chief Executive Officer Brandi Garner and/or those persons designated by her, regarding operation of and improvements for the Oklahoma County Detention Center, which may include personnel recruitment initiatives, Oklahoma State Health Department matters, the housing of juveniles, medical procedures and matters, budgetary and financial matters, plans for improvement of operation of the Oklahoma County Detention Center, and regarding enhanced use of release of detainees through the Medical Own Recognizance Program, with possible actions as desired by the Authority.
- 3. Receive, accept, and discuss report by Chief Financial Officer Chris Sherman regarding income statements, financial reports, and current budget for Oklahoma County Criminal Justice Authority, with possible actions as desired by the Authority.
- 4. Approval of invoices and claims list for March 11, 2024, with discussion and actions as desired by the Authority. List available for inspection in the office of the Oklahoma County Criminal Justice Authority Secretary, Room 201, Oklahoma County Office Building.

Discussion and possible action to approve renewal of workers’ compensation insurance coverage provided by Oklahoma Employers Safety Association and to be effective April 1, 2024 through April 1, 2025, in the amount of $838,677.00 for the estimated annual premium. Presented by Chris Sherman, Chief Financial Officer.
- 6. Discussion and possible action to approve Consulting Services Agreement between the Oklahoma County Criminal Justice Authority and NCCHC Resources, Inc. to provide consulting and technical assistance in evaluating correctional healthcare services for national accreditation and certification in accordance with standards of the National Commission on Correctional Health Care. Presented by Brandi Garner, Chief Executive Officer
- 7. Receive, accept, and discuss report by Information Technology Director, Jeff Ama, regarding network upgrade project, with possible actions as desired by the Authority.
- 8. Discussion and possible action to approve Consulting Services Agreement between the Oklahoma County Criminal Justice Authority and OSS Law Enforcement Advisors to provide case consulting, analysis and testimony in Currin v. Oklahoma County Criminal Justice Authority et al. Case No. CIV-23-22-F. Estimated cost of services through trial to be $60,000.00. Requested by District Attorney’s Office.
- 9. Discussion and possible action to approve Consulting Services Agreement with Robert Cox, Winston Services, to provide investigation services in relation to Altstatt v. Board of County Commissioners for Oklahoma County et al. Case No. CIV-22-811-D. Amount of the contract not to exceed $5,000.00. Requested by District Attorney’s Office.
- 10. Report regarding meetings of the Oklahoma County Criminal Justice Authority Citizens Advisory Board, with discussion and possible acceptance and other actions as desired by the Authority.
- 11. Announcement: Next Regularly Scheduled Meeting of the Oklahoma County Criminal Justice Authority in 2024 is on Monday, April 08, 2024, or as otherwise scheduled or held in accordance with the Oklahoma Open Meetings Act.
