  11. 4. Discussion and possible action related to the application for funding administered through The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality from the Oklahoma Volkswagen Settlement Trust. The goal of this program is to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions by replacing or repowering older vehicles with newer diesel or alternative fueled vehicles. The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) will submit the application, and any other documents needed to complete the application. The application must be submitted on-line or by mail no later than the submission deadline September 30, 2024, 4:00 p.m. The application and any other documents needed for the application submission will be completed by Nikkiey Morton, Oklahoma County Grant Administrator and certified by the Chairperson of the BOCC, if applicable.
