Discussion and possible action regarding a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) regarding calling a sales tax election to be held November 3, 2026 to approve a new four-tenths of one percent (0.40%) county sales tax for a period of twenty-five years to fund the operation, maintenance, construction, renovation, financing, equipping, and staffing of county detention, diversion and mental health facilities and programs, or to recommend other sales tax terms.
