- 2 "Official action can be taken only on items which appear on the agenda. The Transit Trust may adopt, approve, ratify, deny, defer, recommend, or continue any agenda item. The Transit Trust may also propose and enact floor amendments to any matter presented before them. When more information is needed to act on an item, the Transit Trust may refer the matter to the City Manager or the City Attorney. The Transit Trust may also refer items to standing committees of the Council or a board, commission, or authority for additional study. Under certain circumstances, items are deferred to a specific later date or stricken from the agenda entirely."

Consider approving Resolution Number 2024-__ authorizing the filing of a grant for federal assistance under Section 5339 Federal Transit Administration for Capital for Bus and Bus Facilities for Federal Fiscal Year 2024, in an amount not to exceed $25,000,000.00, approving the application and authorizing the Chairman and Secretary to execute the same.
