- 1 "Official action can be taken only on items which appear on the agenda. The Authority may adopt, approve, ratify, deny, defer, recommend, or continue any agenda item. The Authority may also propose and enact floor amendments to any matter presented before them. When more information is needed to act on an item, the Authority may refer the matter to the City Manager or the City Attorney. The Authority may also refer items to standing committees of the Council or a board, commission, or authority for additional study. Under certain circumstances, items are deferred to a specific later date or stricken from the agenda entirely."

- 3 BUSINESS ITEMS:
- 1. Consider and take action with respect to resolution No. 2025-____ of the Lawton Water Authority (the “Borrower”) authorizing to file applications with the Oklahoma Water Resources Board for financial assistance for the purpose of financing certain capital improvements to certain water system improvements including, but not limited to lake and dam repairs; approving and authorizing the issuance, sale and delivery of a promissory note or notes in one or more series of the Authority to the Oklahoma Water Resources Board in the total aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $39 million; approving the issuance of a promissory note or notes in one or more series in the total aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $39 million, secured by a pledge of revenues and authorizing its execution; approving and authorizing the execution of a loan agreement for CWSRF loan; designating a local trustee and approving and authorizing the execution of a trust agreement; approving and authorizing the execution of a security agreement; ratifying and confirming a lease agreement, as amended pertaining to certain water, sanitary sewer, and refuse systems; approving various covenants; approving and authorizing the establishment of a project costs disbursement account; and containing other provisions relating thereto.

- 6 The City of Lawton encourages participation from all of its citizens. If participation at any public meeting is not possible due to a disability, notification to the City Clerk at (580) 581-3305 at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled meeting is encouraged to make the necessary accommodations. The City may waive the 48 hour rule if interpreters for the deaf (signing) is not the necessary accommodation."
