Consider approving an ordinance pertaining to Animals, amending Section 5-1-101, 5-1-104, 5-1-106, 5-1-111, 5-1-117, 5-1-118, 5-1-120, Article 5-1, Chapter 5, Lawton City Code 2015 and amending Section 5-5-508, Article 5-5, Chapter 5, Lawton City Code 2015, by defining redemption period and service animal; establishing City Manager approval for euthanizations within the redemption period; clarifying that large animals may be unlawful; allowing for redemption periods to be extended; expanding on service animal allowances; increasing the percentage of revenue collected available for Animal Welfare use; correcting grammatical errors; renumbering as needed; providing for severability and establishing an effective date.
