Consider authorizing the City Manager to incentivize General employees to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by allowing covered employees who receive proper/complete COVID-19 vaccine dose(s) as per CDC/manufacture’s guideline, to be compensated with one (1) paid day off, one hundred dollars ($100.00), up to eighty (80) hours of paid sick leave should the employee contract COVID-19 after receiving the vaccine, provided they have not previously received COVID-19 sick leave under the FFCRA, authorize the City Manager to include Police and Fire bargaining groups under this program if an agreement is reached, and further authorize the City Manager to provide an extension of the FFCRA leave from January 1 through April 30, 2021, for covered employees that have not previously received COVID-19 sick leave under these FFCRA leave guidelines.
