The filing period will begin on Monday, January 26, 2026, and end on Friday, January 30, 2026, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the County Clerk’s Office. If two or more candidates file within a District, an election will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the respective County Barns-District #1, 14701 S. Amergis Healthcare Services - Facility Assignment Confirmation for services per the Statewide Contract SW1032 for staffing Bi-lingual Customer Assistance Representative, Vanessa Berry. The Health Department agrees to pay $43.00 per hour worked and $64.50 per overtime hour worked, and $.70 per mile (or current GSA rate) for mileage.   26. 15. Discussion and possible action regarding presentation by Susan Bergen regarding an update on the garden at the Cleveland County Detention Center 26-0012 no action taken
  27. 27 Board Member Statements and Announcements concerned a statement made by Rod Cleveland commending County Clerk Pam Howlett for the monumental task of completing a new agenda system for the county. The county looked at three different ones and a decision was made to go with Granicus. He congratulated Pam Howlett for the work done and added that it will be great for the community. Chairman Jacob McHughes wished everyone a great 2026 New Year.
