4. 4 According to Nevada’s Open Meeting Law, it is the Commission’s discretion to take public comments on items before the Commission during times other than during the public comment session. After receiving recognition and consent of Chair, public comment will be limited to three minutes. If any member of the Commission wishes to extend the length of a presentation, this will be done by the Chair, or the Commission by majority vote. A citizen may speak on a matter not on the agenda as posted during the second time set aside for comments by the general public. In consideration of others, please avoid repetition and limit your comments to no more than three minutes. No deliberation may be taken on a matter not listed on the posted agenda until the matter has been specifically included on an agenda as an item.
