  89. 86 INFORMATION FOR THE PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that City Council has authorized a partial opening of the Council Chamber beginning with the July 13, 2021 City Council meeting. All Regular or Special Meetings and/or Work Sessions for the Greensboro City Council will continue to be held as hybrid meetings. Due to capacity restrictions, only a limited number of residents will be allowed inside the Council Chamber. Masks will be required for all attendees. Residents are encouraged to continue to participate virtually. Any resident wishing to speak to an agenda item or as a speaker from the floor must submit comments or a request to speak via https://form.jotform.com/202643500426041. Deadline for submissions will be 5 p.m. the day prior to the meeting. ONLY online registrations to speak will be accepted. There will not be in-person speaker sign-ups. Presentations for Council must be submitted to vitrualcomment.greensboro-nc.gov following registration to speak. Free parking is provided after 5:00 p.m. in the public lot located at Washington/Eugene Streets, Governmental Center, Greensboro, NC. For safety purposes, all packages, handbags and briefcases will be electronically inspected by security prior to individuals entering the Council Chamber. Meetings can be viewed via the Greensboro Television Network (GTN), online at http://greensboro.granicus.com/player/camera/3?publish_id=99&autostart=1&redirect=true, on the City of Greensboro GTN webpage at https://www.greensboro-nc.gov/departments/communications-marketing/greensboro-television-network-gtn, or viewed on AT&T U-verse channel 99, NorthState channel 31, Spectrum channel 13 and available on the Roku streaming service. All attendees are to enter at the Governmental Plaza Level entrance of the Melvin Municipal Office Building (MMOB). For persons with disabilities and/or seniors, an entrance is marked 'Accessible Entrance'. Directional signage is provided. All attendees are to conduct themselves in a civil and respectful manner at all times. Any disruption of the meeting will not be tolerated. If this occurs, the person will be identified and asked to stop. If the behavior continues, they will be removed from the Council meeting.
  90. 87 • The first regular meeting of the month is for Council consideration of public forum comments, presentational, consent, public hearing, and business items as needed. • The second regular meeting of the month is for Council consideration of consent, public hearing, and business items. The zoning application hearing process allows proponents and opponents a total of fifteen (15) minutes notwithstanding the number of persons desiring to be heard. Proponents shall be heard first followed by comments from opponents. Each side may speak a total of five (5) minutes rebuttal. Following the conclusion of comments during the public forum and/or speaking to a specific item, residents participating virtually will be removed from the Zoom call and are invited to observe the remainder of the meeting on the Greensboro Television Network (GTN) or via the City website at https://greensboro.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx. When emailing comments or requests to participate in the Council meeting, please identify which item you are addressing by providing the ID # or a brief description of the item. Residents requesting to participate will be emailed an invitation to register with instructions on how to participate, including a unique password that cannot be used by other individuals. All comments received are subject to the public records law and will be posted on the City of Greensboro website.
