Request to set a public hearing on Land Use Ordinance Amendments modifying residential parking requirements. PURPOSE: The purpose of this agenda item is to provide the Town Council with a draft ordinance to implement Carrboro Connects Transportation & Mobility Strategy 4.2 Reduce negative effects of parking requirements on housing costs and natural resources. A resolution that would, if adopted, set a legislative public hearing for October 24, 2023, is provided for the Council’s use.
