Public Hearing on Amendments to the Land Use Ordinance and Town Code to Establish a Climate Action and Environmental Sustainability Commission PURPOSE: The purpose of this agenda item is for the Town Council to consider proposed amendments to the Land Use Ordinance that would establish a new Climate Action and Environmental Sustainability Commission, and an associated Town Code amendment. Draft ordinances have been prepared. The consideration of an amendment to the Land Use Ordinance is a legislative decision and the Council must receive public input before reaching a decision.
