Request to Consider Awarding a Contract to Rawlings Contracting to Elevate Two Homes on Lorraine Street with Funding from the North Carolina Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. PURPOSE: The purpose of this agenda item is for the Town Council to consider authorizing the Town Manager to award a contract to Rawlings Contracting for work associated with elevating 400 and 403 Lorraine Street, funded by North Carolina Division of Emergency Management’s Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) for disaster recovery.
