A Public Hearing on the Temporary Street Closing Permit Application for the BCAN’s (Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network) 2017 AmpUp! Walk/Run 5K to End Bladder Cancer. PURPOSE: The purpose of this item is to receive public input on the Street Closing Permit Application submitted by the BCAN for the temporary closing and usage of streets from 7:00AM to 8:00AM on Sunday May 21st, 2017 to accommodate the AmpUp! Walk/Run 5K to End Bladder Cancer. The run is scheduled to start at 7:00AM and runners will exit the course by 8:00AM for an awards ceremony in the parking lot of Fleet Feet Sports.
