Request to Approve a Resolution authorizing the Town Manager to Select and Execute a Contract for the Construction of the Homestead Road Multi-use Path, to Execute an updated Supplemental Agreement and to Execute a Contract for CEI Services for the same project PURPOSE: The purpose of this item is for the Board of Aldermen to consider authorizing the Town Manager to select a contractor and execute a contract with such contractor to construct the Homestead Road Multi-Use Path, to execute an updated Supplemental Agreement with NCDOT to reflect later milestones relating to project completion, and to execute a contract with Summit Design and Engineering to conduct Construction, Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services for the same project.
