Proposal for Temporary Traffic Calming Measures along Oak Avenue and Update on the West Main Street Road Diet PURPOSE: The purpose of this item is to seek Board of Aldermen authorization to install temporary traffic calming measures along Oak Avenue during the summer and early fall. Staff would use the results from the temporary measures to design permanent traffic calming measures which would be brought back before the Board as a future agenda item and budget request. An update is also provided to follow up on Board inquiries with respect to the West Main Street resurfacing and road diet.
