Receipt of the Tree City USA Award PURPOSE: The Town of Carrboro has been named a Tree City USA for 2012 by The National Arbor Day Foundation to honor its commitment to its community forest. Student winners of the poster contest will attend the meeting and be recognized by the Town. Posters will be on display.
