- 7 Sponsor: Director of Health Department Accepting and approving a four-year grant award for $6,419,475.00 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development that provides funding for the Health Department Lead Safe KC Program to identify and remediate lead paint hazards in homes of low-income families with children; appropriating and estimating revenue in the amount of $6,419,475.00; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.
- 8 Sponsor: Mayor Pro Tem Ryana Parks-Shaw Amending Ordinance No. 220656 which approved a preliminary plat in District MPD on about 24.24 acres generally located at E. 52nd Terrace and Belmont Avenue by repealing condition 8 contained in Section A of the Ordinance, which required the developer to enter into a secured deferral agreement for street improvements to Belmont Avenue, and replacing it with a new condition concerning future improvements to Belmont Avenue.
- 9 Sponsor: Mayor Pro-Tem Ryana Parks-Shaw COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE Directing the City Manager to develop and implement a Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design education and training program for businesses and neighborhoods in collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Public Safety Task Force, Kansas City Police Department and community organizations.
