  3. 3 Sponsor: Mayor Pro Tem Ryana Parks-Shaw Directing the City Auditor to conduct an audit of the City’s former Minority and Women’s Business Enterprise program’s certification and renewal processes for the purpose of identifying potential administrative or procedural inefficiencies and barriers; directing the City Auditor prepare a report with the City Auditor’s findings and recommendations and present it to the City Council and City Manager; and further directing the City Manager to make reasonable efforts to include businesses that were eligible for certification but did not apply due to administrative barriers as well as businesses that experienced certification or renewal delays or were otherwise negatively impacted by administrative or procedural barriers of the former program. 260744

  6. 6 Sponsor: Mayor Quinton Lucas Calling an election on August 4, 2026, for the purpose of submitting to the voters of Kansas City a question authorizing City to establish semiannual vacant property registration fees not to exceed $200.00 for chronically vacant nuisance property, $1,000.00 for vacant commercial property and $200.00 for vacant unimproved property; directing the City Clerk to notify the responsible election authorities on or before May 26, 2026; enacting the vacant property registration fees ordinance contingent upon voter approval; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date because it calls an election. 260498

  9. 9 Sponsor: Director of City Planning and Development Department Approving the petition to establish the Tiffany Springs Logistics Community Improvement District No. 1; establishing the Tiffany Springs Logistics Community Improvement District No. 1 generally bounded by Northwest 101st Terrace to the north; North Amity Avenue to the east; Northwest Old Tiffany Springs Road to the south; and North Congress Avenue to the west in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri; requiring the annual submission of certain records; and directing the City Clerk to report the creation of the District to the Missouri Department of Economic Development and the Missouri State Auditor. 260694
