16. 16 Recognition of Black History Month RES-2025-1153 referred Pass
17. 17 Commissioner Shumaker expressed his disapproval of the DEI language within RES-2025-1153.
18. 18 Commissioner Winfrey expressed his approval of the resolution as is printed.
19. 19 Commissioner Shumaker asked Brian MacMillan, Corporation Counsel, to provide a legal opinion regarding the rules of Closed Session and also regarding who can attend Closed Sessions.
20. 20 Commissioner Loyd requested further discussion regarding an amendment to the Board bylaws that states that the Board Chair must give approval to what individuals are allowed in Closed Sessions.
21. 21 Commissioner Weighill stated that further discussion will be done after obtaining the legal opinion from Corporation Counsel.
