- 1. Approval of a request to create, post & fill one (1) Constituent Relations Representative in the Board Office; this is a budgeted position

- 1. Approval of a purchase order to Motorola for the fiscal year ending 2025, in the amount of $33,090.00, to provide for the purchase of Mobile License Plate Readers at Genesee County's Sheriff's Office; the cost of this purchase order was previously approved in fiscal year 2024 and will be paid from account 1010-316.01-978.000
- 2. Approval of a request by the Genesee County's Sheriff’s Office to eliminate a Deputy Training position and to create, post & fill the position of Training Sergeant
- 3. Approval of a purchase order to Pinnacle Design for the fiscal year ending 2025, in the amount of $62,806.93, to provide for the purchase of furnishings at Genesee County's Legal Resource Center; the cost of this purchase order will be paid from account 4960-255.06-975.007

- 16 Recognition of Black History Month
- 17 Commissioner Shumaker expressed his disapproval of the DEI language within RES-2025-1153.
- 18 Commissioner Winfrey expressed his approval of the resolution as is printed.
- 19 Commissioner Shumaker asked Brian MacMillan, Corporation Counsel, to provide a legal opinion regarding the rules of Closed Session and also regarding who can attend Closed Sessions.
- 20 Commissioner Loyd requested further discussion regarding an amendment to the Board bylaws that states that the Board Chair must give approval to what individuals are allowed in Closed Sessions.
- 21 Commissioner Weighill stated that further discussion will be done after obtaining the legal opinion from Corporation Counsel.
- 23 The meeting was adjourned at 6:15 PM.
