  5. 6 Note: In-Person Speakers will be called upon to speak before those who have signed up to speak virtually for Community Forum and Public Hearings.
  6. 7 In-Person Attendance
  7. 8 Community members attending in-person who wish to speak during Community Forum, or a Public Hearing should sign up using the form at the entrance to the Mayor and Council Chamber. In-person speakers will be called upon in the order they are signed to speak before virtual speakers.
  8. 9 Viewing Mayor and Council Meetings
  9. 10 The Mayor and Council are conducting hybrid meetings. The virtual meetings can be viewed on Rockville 11, Comcast, and Verizon cable channel 11, and livestreamed at www.rockvillemd.gov/rockville11, and available a day after each meeting at www.rockvillemd.gov/videoondemand.
  10. 11 Participating in Community Forum & Public Hearings:
  11. 12 If you wish to submit comments in writing for Community Forum or Public Hearings: • Please email the comments to mayorandcouncil@rockvillemd.gov by no later than 10:00 a.m. on the date of the meeting. • All written comments will be acknowledged by the Mayor and Council at the meeting and added to the agenda for public viewing on the website. If you wish to participate virtually in Community Forum or Public Hearings during the live Mayor and Council meeting: 1. Send your Name, Phone number, the Community Forum and Expected Method of Joining the Meeting (computer or phone) to mayorandcouncil@rockvillemd.gov no later than noon on the day of the meeting. 2. Send your Name, Phone number, the Public Hearing Topic and Expected Method of Joining the Meeting (computer or phone) to mayorandcouncil@rockvillemd.gov no later than 10:00am on the day of the meeting. 3. On the day of the meeting, you will receive a confirmation email with further details, and two Webex invitations: 1) Optional Webex Orientation Question and Answer Session and 2) Mayor & Council Meeting Invitation. 4. Plan to join the meeting no later than 6:40 p.m. (approximately 20 minutes before the actual meeting start time). 5. Read for https://www.rockvillemd.gov/DocumentCenter/View/38725/Public-Meetings-on-Webex meeting tips and instructions on joining a Webex meeting (either by computer or phone). 6. Award and authorize the City Manager to execute contracts, in accordance with IFB #27-24 - Water Treatment Chemicals, with (i) Univar Solutions USA LLC, of Morrisville, Pennsylvania; (ii) Kuehne Chemical Co. Inc., of Kearny, New Jersey; (iii) Kemira Water Solutions, of Lawrence, Kansas; (iv) Polydyne Inc., of Riceboro, Georgia; (v) Shannon Chemical Corporation, of Malvern, Pennsylvania; and (vi) George S. Coyne Coyne Chemical Co., of Croydon, Pennsylvania, for the procurement of eight chemical commodities through June 30, 2025, with the option to extend for four (4) additional one-year periods, for an aggregate amount not to exceed $1,060,500. Award and Authorize the Acting City Manager to Execute the attached Rider Contract with Priority Install, LLC, of Mount Airy, MD, in the Amount Not to Exceed $176,692.00 for the initial term, and $200,000.00 for any renewals, for the Purchase and Delivery of Automotive Parts for Police Vehicles in accordance with the Pricing Structure, Terms, and Conditions of Prince George’s County, MD Contract #4400007333. 24-1133

(1) Pursuant to Section 17-88 of the City Code, adopt the attached resolution finding that a unique or unusual circumstance exists that makes competitive procurement of the third-floor renovation of the North Wing of the 6 Taft Court building contrary to the City’s interests, and (2) award and authorize the City Manager to execute an Amended and Restated Contract with Nichols Contracting, Inc, for the Phase 1A and Phase 1B renovation construction work at 6 Taft Court, with a term extending until January 31, 2025, in an amount not to exceed $10,311,264.38. 24-1185
