Adopt a Resolution that Includes: (A) a Finding By the Mayor and Council Pursuant to Section 17-82 of the Rockville City Code, that a Contract of Any Value May be Awarded Without Competition Due to Proprietary Information, Patents, Copyrights, or Similar Circumstance; (B) Subject to the Mayor and Council Making Such a Finding, Awarding a Sole Source Contract to Xylem Water Solutions, dba Pure Technologies U.S., Inc., (“Pure Technologies”) of Columbia, Maryland, in an Amount Not to Exceed $909,900; and (C) Authorizing the City Manager to Execute the Sole Source Contract with Pure Technologies U.S., Inc., for Inspection of the City’s 24-Inch Potable Water Transmission Mains.
