- 6 AN ACT CONCERNING THE APPRENTICESHIP INCENTIVE PROGRAM for the purpose of requiring Employ Prince George’s and other relevant County agencies to work to strategically provide a package of incentives to increase the prevalence of apprenticeships across Prince George’s County, and particularly in industries including technology, construction, building trades, and healthcare.
- 7 A RESOLUTION CONCERNING QUANTUM SCIENCE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT for the purpose of expressing support for efforts to advance and strengthen the quantum science and technology workforce in Prince George’s County; encouraging collaboration among educational institutions, workforce development organizations, employers, public agencies, and other stakeholders to identify and support opportunities for training, mentorship, curriculum alignment, apprenticeship, and career pathway development in quantum-related fields; urging relevant stakeholders to convene informally to discuss strategies for preparing County residents and students for employment and advancement in the emerging quantum science economy; and generally relating to workforce development and economic opportunity in Prince George’s County.
