PUBLIC HEARING ON POTENTIAL FIRST PHASE RESIDENTIAL AUTOMATED SPEED ENFORCEMENT SITES The County Council of Prince George's County, Maryland, hereby gives notice of a public hearing on the potential locations for the installation of speed monitoring systems prior to there installation. The Prince George’s County Council adopted CB-73-2021 (DR-2), pursuant to State law, to authorize the use of Speed Camera Monitoring Systems to regulate traffic in the County. Pursuant to Section 3 of CB-73-2022 (DR-2), the County Council shall hold at least one (1) public hearing to obtain public comment on potential locations for the installation of speed monitoring systems prior to there installation. The Prince George’s County Department of Public Works & Transportation and Police Department have developed a list of potential locations that have been identified as “First Phase Residential Speed Camera Locations” as required by Section 21-809 of the Transportation Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland and have identified additional locations as potential speed camera installation sites.
