Agency Briefing - Department of Transportation For the purpose of calling on pertinent agency representatives of the Department of Transportation to brief the City Council on how the Department's FY 24 actual expenditures compare against the approved budget when compared to prior years and to provide projections based on FY 24 quarterly spending to date. The presentation is to include a status report on: the redevelopment of Traffic/Speed Cameras and the current numbers of citations as compared to prior years; Impound Process; Overtime Expenses: current fiscal year compared to last fiscal year; Number of Vacancies: current fiscal year compared to last fiscal year; Equipment/Departmental Needs: Such as equipment, training, and ext. for the current fiscal year compared to last fiscal year; efforts to improve Delinquent/Outstanding collections, status of street and road repairs and other major Capital Projects underway, updates related to completed streets, updates related to the apprenticeship program, and updates on any other projected challenges of the Department.
