Legislative Oversight - Procurement of Consultant Services and HomeServe Warranty 1. Procurement of Consultant Services for a Water and Wastewater Efficiency Study. The committee will seek information on the Bureau's motivation for the study, the decision to hire a consultant rather than relying on internal expertise, the process for selecting the consultant, the scope of the study, and planned consultation with customers, the workforce and their representatives. The committee will provide opportunity for public testimony. 2. HomeServ Warranty Letters. The committee will seek information on the circumstances that have led the Bureau to recommend private insurance, the appropriateness of recommending a single insurer, the legal relationship between the Bureau and the insurer, the process for selecting the insurer, the coverage provided and the value to customers.
