Informational Hearing - Alternatives to Arrest For the purpose of inviting representatives from the Baltimore Police Department, the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office, the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice, the Baltimore City Sheriff’s Office, and other City officials responsible for enforcement, prosecution, and judicial review of criminal justice to appear before the City Council to discuss ways that we can rebuild trust between our citizens and the agents of the criminal justice system by exploring alternative enforcement strategies outside of traditional arrest.
