Approving the Submission of an Application to the State of Maryland to Approve a Tenant Improvement Grant for Wide Angle Youth Media FOR the purpose of approving the submission of an application to the State of Maryland for a Tenant Improvement Grant for Wide Angle Youth Media, a nonprofit organization in the City of Baltimore that provides media education and skills training to Baltimore City Youth, for the purpose of expanding and improving its offices in Miller's Court in the Remington neighborhood, which project will enable Wide Angle Youth Media to expand the high school program's capacity by 20%, to increase the number of high school programs from 3 to 5, to increase the staff by 25%, and to provide adequate space to fully launch a social enterprise that will create new apprenticeship opportunities in media technology for Baltimore City youth.
