Further, that advance notice of any road closures or detours be provided to the affected Ward Councillors and residents to ensure they are informed of anticipated traffic impacts and changes to local road access. 26-143 ordered Pass

Motion presented by Councillors Cogliandro, McKenna, and Mercurio: That the Mayor, City Planner, and any other appropriate department heads appear before the City Council to provide information and discuss concerns regarding parking from McMakin Field, the impacts of the neighbors being inundated with parking from games and/or practices at this field, and any plans in place for the neighborhood to prevent any parking related issues. 26-144 ordered Pass

Motion presented by Councillor Cogliandro: That the Mayor request the Chief of Police to provide the City Council with a report detailing fireworks enforcement activities conducted between July 1, 2026 and July 8, 2026, including, but not limited to, the number of citations issued, warnings given, arrests made, and any other enforcement actions taken during that period. 26-147 ordered Pass

  32. 28 Motion presented Councillor Novoselsky: That the Mayor be requested to direct the Veterans Service Officer to follow the veterans memorial pole installation protocol as provided by Chapter 12.22 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Revere. It is the understanding of the City Council that several new memorial poles were recently installed on public ways without the permission of the City Council. 26-151 ordered Pass

Motion presented by Councillor Guarino-Sawaya: That the Mayor request the Fire Department, Police Department, Engineering Department, and Emergency Management to report on the feasibility of expanding municipal drone operations for emergency response, shoreline monitoring, infrastructure inspections, and disaster assessment. 26-149 ordered Pass
