- 5 Be it ordained by the Malden City Council that the Code of the City of Malden (MCC) 2.08.040 ENUMERATION OF BOARDS AND COMMISSION APPOINTED OFFICERS; TERMS AND DUTIES is hereby amended by striking “1 yr.” under Term for Clerk of Committees and inserting “2 yrs.” in its place. Be it further ordered that the current term expiration date for Lisa Cagno be extended to December 31, 2025 and henceforth coincide with the Biennial Session of the City Council.

- 6 Be it ordained by the Malden City Council that the Code of the City of Malden (MCC) 2.08.040 ENUMERATION OF BOARDS AND COMMISSION APPOINTED OFFICERS; TERMS AND DUTIES is hereby amended by striking “1 yr.” under Term for Clerk of Committees and inserting “2 yrs.” in its place. - 7 Be it ordained that Section 11.24.010 PLACEMENT OF POLES, WIRES AND TELE-COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT IN, ALONG OR ON PUBLIC WAYS be amended in the following manner (See attachment)
- 8 Be it ordained by the Malden City Council that the Code of the City of Malden (MCC) 12.32.060 DEFINITIONS - ZONING is hereby amended by adding under Paragraph B: Retail Car Wash: An establishment operating a facility that provides motor vehicle washing, vacuuming, or cleaning service to the public using either automatic, manual, or self-service methods. A Retail Car Wash establishment does not include establishments that perform vehicle washing, vacuum, and cleaning services in association with Vehicle Sales or Rental facilities or as a courtesy by Motor Vehicle Repair Shops to vehicles being repaired. Be it further ordained by the Malden City Council that the Code of the City of Malden (MCC) 6.12.010 HOURS OF OPERATION; IN GENERAL is hereby amended by adding under Paragraph A: Retail Car Wash 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- 9 Be it ordained by the Malden City Council that the Code of the City of Malden (MCC) 6.08.110 VEHICLES FOR HIRE; GENERAL REQUIREMENTS is hereby amended by the following: -In Section D.1: striking ‘office’ and replace with residence -In Section D.2: after ‘City of Malden and’ strike ‘shall include adequate off-street parking for all licensed vehicles’ and replace with ‘are allowed one parking permit per household. Any additional vehicles over that one requires adequate off-street parking for all licensed vehicles.’ -Sections D.3 and D.4: strike in their entirety -In Section F.1.b: strike ‘1.5”’ by 1.5”’ and replace with ‘2” by 2.”’
- 10 Be it ordained by the Malden City Council that the Code of the City of Malden (MCC) 6.16.040 REGULATION OF SALE OF FLOWERS, FLOWERING PLANTS AND CHRISTMAS TREES is hereby amended by striking “AND CHRISTMAS TREES” from the title. Be it further amended by striking Section C in its entirety and renaming Section D “Section C”.
