Resolve: That it is the sense of the Malden City Council that the City of Malden work in collaboration with the Board of Health and Building Inspector to update MCC 9.04.010A relative to overgrowth of vegetation so as to protect and allow for sustainable landscaping and naturalized lawn practices, including but not limited to pollinator gardens, perennial wildflower meadows, and other non-manicured methods of cultivation, exempting such practices from the nuisance category of our municipal health code, with final discretion by the Board of Health Director.
