1. 1 A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Boston was held in the Christopher A. Iannella Chamber, City Hall on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 12:07 P.M. President Louijeune in the Chair. Absent Councilor Mejia. Bishop William E. Dickerson, Greater Love Tabernacle, delivered the invocation and the meeting was opened with the pledge of allegiance to the flag. 5. 5 Councilor Murphy called Docket #0815, message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) in the form of a grant for Chinatown Childcare Services, awarded by the Boston Planning and Development Agency to be administered by the Office of Early Childhood. The grant will fund to support the creation and sustainability of Family Child Care and Center Based programs, from the Committee on Strong Women, Families and Communities.
