Y Commissioner Brooks spoke about serving on the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) Board along with Commissioner Revis as he stated at the previous Forest Preserve Board meeting regarding the Forest Preserve giving a financial donation to the CAC. Commissioner Brooks question to Executive Director Chapman was in what capacity can the Forest Preserve financial contribute to the CAC. Chapman responded since we are a created by the Downstate Forest Preserve Act the District is restricted to give out financial donations, the District would have to set up contract services.
