"AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF AN UNENCUMBERED APPROPRIATION BALANCE WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, FISCAL YEAR 2023 BUDGET" The purpose of this resolution is to transfer funds in the amount of $300,000 within the Department of Public Works, from the Road, Bridge, and Drainage Maintenance Program - Highway Fund, Category A (Salaries), to the Road, Bridge, and Drainage Maintenance Program - Highway Fund, Category B (Operations & Equipment), in order to cover a projected $300,000 shortfall in electricity expense for streetlights.
